ATRS approves $130m in commitments

The US public pension has backed three real estate funds.

Arkansas Teacher Retirement System (ATRS) has approved commitments of €44 million ($50 million) to Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VI, $40 million to Rockwood Capital Real Estate Partners XI and $40 million to Walton Street Real Estate Debt Fund II, a contact at the pension fund informed PERE.

The $17.49 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to real estate that currently stands at 9.80 percent.

As illustrated in the chart below, the pension fund has committed to five real estate funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $210 million.
